Hunting, general
All hunters will be required to review safety guidelines and sign a General Release of Liabilities before any hunt.

We have portable stands, fixed ladder stands, blinds and ground platforms from which to hunt. Our hunting locations are placed to provide opportunities for hunting food sources, bedding areas and travel corridors. Our stands and blinds are located to accommodate varying wind and weather conditions.

We also have archery & rifle ranges & targets for your convenience and encourage every hunter to check their weapon's accuracy after travel and before the hunt.

All Turkey hunts are fully guided with no more than 2 hunters per guide.

All deer hunts are guided; guides will "drop" hunters at or near stand locations and will pick up at designated times, or when contacted by hunter.

Each hunter must have a valid Missouri hunting license or permit and must comply with all Missouri Department of Conservation game laws and regulations. For license costs and other hunting information go to:  http://mdc.mo.gov/, or with other questions call their General Office at 573-751-4115.

Bow Hunting
We have established a "set-aside" area for archery hunting only. Approximately 2,000 acres are reserved exclusively for bow hunting. This area is off limits to rifle hunters during the November rifle portion and December Muzzle-loader portion of deer season.

Antler and Age Restrictions
Only mature bucks, or bucks with a gross Boone and Crockett score of 130" or greater may be harvested. Our goal is to harvest only mature bucks in an effort to maintain quality trophy hunting opportunities for all of or customers.

Game Preparation
We will retrieve, field dress and transport your deer or turkey to a local processor. We will also make arrangements to transport your trophy to a local taxidermist, if you so desire.

There are restaurants and shopping opportunities within 10 minutes of the lodge for hunters looking for a meal away from camp.
